Here it all begins: Summary of episode 394 on Friday 6 May 2022

Claire’s health deteriorated overnight and she had to be operated on. Under the circumstances, Emmanuel Teyssier offers his team of teachers to suspend classes until Monday. Guillaume, Clotilde and Lisandro accept. But Teyssier makes a bewildering decision. He wants to keep the double A service. He believes there is no reason to close it. Guillaume points out that with a teacher in critical condition and students in hospital, they have reason not to open the restaurant. Clotilde points out to Emmanuel that the students have barely slept and are shocked. Lisandro and Theo think the students are not going to do a great job. But Teyssier asks his son to summon the brigade that was scheduled for this afternoon.

Emmanuel knows very well that the students are worried and that some of them haven’t slept all night. He assures them that they are aware of the state they are in. But they form a brigade, that is, a team. And for Chief Teyssier, a brigade does not bow and complain. Students agree to provide their service. Teyssier stays in the kitchen to help Theo, because his brigade is understaffed. Some students expected on time have in fact returned home.

At the hospital, Louis and Charlène are at Claire’s bedside. Dr. Lepaon explains to them that they had to operate because her brain hematoma proved to be compressive and that it was necessary to drill to lower the pressure in the skull. Charlene asks the doctor what “trephine” means but Louis interrupts her. He doesn’t want to know. What really matters to him is whether she’s going to make it or not. At this stage, Dr. Lepaon unfortunately cannot comment. The doctor explains to Louis that Claire is kept in an artificial coma to protect her brain while the hematoma resolves. Doctors will know more in the next few hours. Louis is devastated by what is happening to his mother. Charlène supports and comforts him.

At the Institute, Salomé still feels responsible for what happened at the ball. She feels guilty for insisting on installing the disco ball. Axel thinks the building was certainly fragile. But Salome does not move. She saw that the ball was heavy and blames herself for not asking any more questions. Axel assures her that she has nothing to do with this when Greg and Eliott join them. Greg has his shoulder immobilized. Eliott and Greg believe that Axel and Salomé knew how to handle the situation when there was total panic around them.

While the serve is in full swing at double A, Louis arrives and makes a scene. He finds it disrespectful to leave the restaurant open while his mother is in the hospital and has always fought for this Institute.

The prosecution has decided to open a judicial investigation to clarify the circumstances of the accident and determine the causes and it is Captain Brassac who carries out the preliminary investigation. He came to the Institute to audition the participants and the organizers because he needs to know what happened before and during the party. He proceeds to auditions starting with Rose, Guillaume and Jasmine.

Louis hears a gendarme was at the Institute and interrogates Jasmine. He explains that he wanted to have his version of her since she was taking care of the ball at the base. Hence, he quickly dismisses the responsibility of those who have arrived in Salomé and have not checked the safety standards. Jasmine tells Louis that the disco ball is the young woman’s idea. She then she regrets that Salomé wanted to do everything to impress Teyssier’s nephew.

Louis then confronts his ex-wife. There are Axel, Eliott and Greg. Louis blames Salome for what happened at the prom. Axel intervenes and explains that she is on the wrong target. Salomé ends up admitting that she didn’t find it necessary to ask the owner for permission to install the disco ball. She then admits that she did not check the safety instructions. Louis makes her responsible for her mother’s state. Salomé assures him that she will take responsibility for her in due course and points out that there is no evidence for the moment.

Teyssier congratulates the brigade on the work done. Of course, not everything was perfect. He thinks they’ll get their grades back tomorrow. Lionel rebels. He wants to spend the day in the hospital with Kelly. And then he thinks they need a break. But the director of the Institute is still. He wants to see his students tomorrow at the same time and in uniform.

It’s up to Salomé to be heard by Captain Brassac, while Jasmine complains that the latter preferred to party and be the center of attention. Eliott points out that she is getting bad. Axel intervenes. He thinks there’s no point in speculating and asks Louis to relax, because he’s making Salome look like a killer. Louis asks Axel to stop defending her and tells him: “Don’t worry, you’ll end up beating her, it’s not very complicated”, and Jasmine gets over her by arguing that he’s not wrong. Axel asks Jasmine to be kind to Salomé on the contrary, but the young woman turns her back on her. Jasmine tells Axel that she is so blinded by Salome that she doesn’t even realize she was irresponsible.

Constance thinks it’s not a good idea for her husband to put pressure on students like he does. Teyssier admits to his wife that he feels responsible for what happened. He wants to make up for it by helping the students. He blames himself for not having been there with them or his wife. Constance asks her husband to accept that he can’t control everything.

Louis learns from the doctor that his mother’s condition is stable. But he needs answers and he’s been researching the internet. Louis is afraid that his mother will become a vegetable and she would not stand it. Charlène provides her with unfailing support. She assures him that her mother is a fighter, that she will wake up and recover 100%. But Louis is ready to do anything to get justice and he plans to take revenge on Salomé.

Anaïs learns shocking news

Anaïs and Kelly share the same hospital room. Lysander came to see her partner and brought her some things. Kelly, meanwhile, has dozed off from painkillers. The doctors preferred to keep Anaïs under observation, because she was nauseous last night. The young woman thinks that the doctors do not worry at all, especially since she is already feeling better. But Lysander does not share her opinion. Anaïs hit her head and she shouldn’t take any chances. This is why he advises her to rest rather than go over for the end-of-year exams.

Laetitia and Lionel later visit Kelly. She is suffering from a complex fracture of the tibia and fibula and she is undergoing surgery. And while they are worried about Kelly, she downplays her risks.

Anaïs has had tests and Dr. Lepaon tells her that she does not have a concussion. Anaïs then puts the nausea and vomiting under stress, but Dr. Lepaon explains that she is not quite like that. He then hands her the results of her blood test. Anais is pregnant!
