A COPYCAT RUNS IN THE STREETS
Vanessa spent the night in the hospital and is still in shock. With tears in her eyes, she confides in Georges to see Mercier’s gaze again and to feel the feel of the needle in her neck. To reassure her, the policeman guarantees that he is safe and that he will no longer harm her. To the extent that Vanessa feels very bad about stabbing a man, Georges reminds her that she was acting in self-defense. When Victoire comes to check on her constants, the chef takes the opportunity to listen to her attacker. Doctor Lazzari tells him that he died an hour earlier. Immediately, Vanessa bursts into tears in Georges’s arms who whispers that she has nothing to blame.
If Mercier’s death is good news for the police, it still upsets prosecutor Perraud. Although the investigation is now resolved, Sébastien believes the killer should have held accountable for his actions in court and paid for what he did. While Martin rejoices that he never causes more casualties, Perraud points out, however, that this does not undo the damage he has done or the lives he has destroyed.
For his part, Karim takes Vanessa’s statement which tells in detail what happened the day before at the Spoon. According to Captain Saeed, what he did to her was brave and George in turn repeats to her that he has done nothing wrong before telling her that he loves her.
Meanwhile, Tristan goes to the Spoon to check on Bart and Louise. He then makes them understand that the best thing they could do to celebrate the fact that life goes on would be to keep their marriage. Rich in this idea, the couple immediately calls the town hall and re-launches the invitations.
At the same time, Georges is surprised that Mercier has changed his modus operandi. In fact, since the time of the seamstress, the killer has moved on to injection with the syringe. He then has the feeling that he has missed something but Martin thinks he is quite in shock at what happened to Vanessa. He then he asks her to take a few days off to take a step back. For the police, the case is now closed.
Not far from there, Karim tells Chloé that Mercier is dead. As a result, he will no longer need police protection. Later, Chloe gets a call from Louise informing her that the wedding is being maintained and will take place the next day.
Even though Mercier is indeed dead, his imitator is still running through the streets and is about to make a new victim, carefully preparing a tiger rosebud.
Meanwhile, Vanessa is discharged from the hospital to the delight of Bart, Louise and Tristan. While the couple offers her to take a vacation to recover from her emotions, the young woman prefers to go back to her kitchen so as not to be afraid. To change his mind, Bart tells him that the marriage is maintained. Delighted, the chef even agrees to make a truce with Tristan for the moment of the wedding. Soon after, Tristan and Vanessa get to work.
At the end of the day, Bart takes advantage of a face-to-face meeting with Louise to talk to her about his desire to start a family with her. Having already thought about the matter, Louise declares that she too wishes to have a child with him. The couple then kisses tenderly.
As night falls, the serial killer prepares to look closely at Bart and Louise’s wedding invitation.
MANON GETS AN INTERNSHIP IN THE CARE
Aurore struggles to accept that her daughter wants to join the police. Early in the morning, he tries to explain to Manon how dangerous this job is, but to no avail.
Furious, Aurore finds Étienne at the Spoon and accuses him of referring her daughter to the police. If she is counting on him to resolve the situation as soon as possible, he retorts that she would be useless. But not being an intelligent young woman, she urges her sister-in-law to trust him. Arriving at work, Aurore sees her daughter leave Commander Constant’s office. Manon, in fact, came to ask for an observation internship. Although she is not in the habit of taking interns, Martin still agrees to do so out of friendship with Aurore.
But it is Aurore’s misunderstanding who has more than one ace up his sleeve. The policewoman rushes to catch up with Sara and Nordine so they can make her daughter’s internship the most painful experience possible. Since Nordine doesn’t find it nice to sabotage her internship, Aurore says it’s not a favor but an order.
At the end of the day, Aurore confides to her husband that she intends to ruin Manon’s internship.
CHRISTELLE KNOWS THE IDENTITY OF THE BLACKSINGER
Sylvain is still concerned about the message he received from the crow. This is why he makes an appointment with Charlie at the Spoon and questions her to find out if she has told anyone about the gold bar. Aside from the Messys, Charlie says she didn’t tell anyone. Soon after, Sylvain shows him the message he was sent.
At the same time, Victor is in a particularly good mood, which Sophie did not miss. The latter also understands that the former businessman is in a bad position and that his plan is coming to fruition. If the latter confirms it, however, for the moment he refuses to add anything else.
For his part, Sylvain receives a new anonymous message that says: ” You enjoyed it, now it’s time to pay the bill! See you soon Moreno! Back at the wall, Sylvain finds himself obliged to inform his wife. Reading the messages, Christelle realizes that Brunet is their blackmailer.
